Twilight – Omaha Family Photos

Was down visiting my sister recently… I convinced my niece and nephew that exploring the hay bales behind their house would be an adventure! (After trying to walk on the sheared hay stalks with flip flops, they weren’t so sure.) It was the perfect time of evening to catch some silhouette shots. I love how serene and peaceful they look… (especially knowing it was just the opposite – they’re typical siblings). Just caught the last of the sun for some beautiful golden light, too! Can’t decide if I like the color or black and white version best!

Milestones – Omaha Family Photographer

So glad we were able to get this session in this morning at Elmwood Park! With their first cutie pie being two months early, there was no guarantee #2 wouldn’t do the same, so we’ve been anticipating our session date for weeks, crossing our fingers that pre-term labor wouldn’t strike again (or at least not as early)! Then to complicate matters the weather seemed to be on the fence this morning, so even though we finally made it, it looked like Mother Nature might get the best of us. Thankfully the front moved about an hour more slowly than The Weather Channel predicted, which gave us JUST enough time to get our photos in and head outta there – with a very dark sky looming (which was a little sad for the wedding they were setting up for in the Grotto). Thanks again, Carmon and Brent, for a great session!! Enjoy your sneak peek…

Guinea Pig | Omaha Child and Family Natural Light Photography

My poor Hudson always gets roped into satisfying my photography cravings… felt like I needed to get out and shoot, so we stepped over to Alwine Prairie for a mini-session. Bribery is always involved, but the results are so sweet it’s absolutely worth it…
